If you’re having to buy more moisturiser, shampoo and hairspray than normal then you might want to look at the man in your household and take note of his newly groomed appearance.

It started with the moisturiser but things have advanced, now our hair straighteners are no longer safe. It seems that men are no longer climbing out of bed and into their clothes without so much of a glimpse of the shower but in fact they are spending the same, if not more time, than women getting ready.

Men have never before been able to rely on make-up and products the way women do to improve their appearance and now all of a sudden, they are using up all our supplies! But what a difference…who knew applying straighteners to their hair could make such a difference in their look? Now we find ourselves tutting when our men appear with unstraightened hair, they look a mess!

It used to be a few brave men that reached for the straighteners and at first it was hilarious, but soon the jokers followed suit as women across the country gawped at their poker straight barnets, they saw how good their friends look and suddenly they’re all at it, barely afraid to lift a pair of pink straighteners from ghd.
